EXPERTISE

Simon has been part of the Human Resources community in Australia and New Zealand for over five years having relocated from the United Kingdom in 2009.  An experienced consultant, Simon has worked in both employee and consulting capacities and has developed a expertise that allows him to build effective and sustained business relationships at all levels. Firmly grounded in the practical aspects of Human Resources principles and practices Simon adopts a pragmatic approach to any HR related challenge.

EXPERIENCE

Simon has over 23 years experience in working in Human Resource Management in a range of challenging and leading industries including Construction, Quarrying, Waste management, Civil Engineering and Rail.  Simon graduated with a degree in Geology, and Masters in Environmental Science. However, he has specialised in Human Resource Management and Business Coaching with roles including Health & Safety Advisor, HR Manager,Training Manager at National and International senior levels. He posseses both experience and qualifications in Training, Occupational Psychometrics, Coaching & Mentoring and has worked with a range of countries as diverse as Germany, Americas and India. Simon has also developed an interest in competencies as performance management and process improvement and has run a number of workshops on the application of competency in the workplace. Many projects have been award winning and recognised best practice both in the UK and Australia.
